Oriana is a professional International Bellydancer, instructor, author and creator of Fanoos Magazine and a fourth generation performer. She has been an influential member of the Middle Eastern Dance community by professionally choreographing for the stage, authoring books, writing for magazines, touring, competing and coaching students near and far. She is an active and inducted member of the Council for International Dance of UNESCO (United Nations) and is a staff instructor for festivals in Cairo, Egypt.
Her classes are suitable for all levels and contain an immense amount of knowledge of the biomechanics of the dance as well as cultural knowledge. Using her Bachelors of Art, public teaching experience, Coaching certification, and Business Analysis certification; Oriana incorporates a wide variety of teaching modalities in her studio classes to ensure that her students are having fun while receiving a top-notch authentic Middle Eastern dance education. She specializes in Egyptian Classical/Raqs Baladi/Raqs Sharqi and is proficient in dances from over 15 countries in the Arab World. She is a beloved instructor and is regarded as the authority of Bellydance in Tampa Bay.
